JOST Brasil Sistemas Automotivos Ltda. is the result of a joint-venture between the Brazilian company Randon Implementos e Participações (headquartered in Caxias do Sul, RS, Brazil, and recognized in the national and international markets for its products in the segments of road equipment, specialty vehicles/ off-the-road vehicles, service and auto-parts) and the German company JOST-Werke (located in Neu-Isenburg and the world leader in fifth-wheel-related technology and one of the most important suppliers for the industry of trucks, semi-trailers and trailers in the international market, with plants throughout the five continents, world leader in couplings for articulated vehicles). Both JOST and Randon have been in existence for over 50 years, always developing high-quality and high-technology products.

JOST Brasil was established on August 31, 1995. Headquartered in Caxias do Sul/RS, JOST is the main supplier of components and systems for the OEM companies of trucks and trailers/semi-trailers.
